Who We Are

We are Catholics committed to deepening devotion to the powerful and unique title of “Our Lady of Life,” rooted in the Annunciation, when the Blessed Virgin Mary gave her profound "fiat" to become the Mother of Christ. This ancient title embodies the sanctity of life, honoring Mary as the protector and advocate for all human life.

Through education, prayer, and outreach, we strive to raise awareness of this sacred title and its significance in today’s world. By fostering devotion and spreading the message of hope, we inspire hearts to embrace the dignity of life and trust in Mary’s intercession.

Spread Devotion

Through devotion and prayer we seek to bring Mary back into the heart of every person, for it is within the family that the sacredness of life is first known and loved. By restoring prayer in our homes and hearts we honor Mary’s fiat, her yes to God, and invite all people to say their own yes to life and faith. From the original Our Lady of Life statue, blessed Baby Jesus figurines have been given to forty-seven women who faced great difficulty conceiving or during pregnancy, and through Mary’s intercession all have since welcomed healthy babies. Large statues throughout Tucson now draw entire communities into deeper reverence for Our Lady and her maternal care for every life.

Each Friday we gather in peaceful prayer outside Planned Parenthood, standing with Our Lady at the foot of the Cross, interceding for mothers, fathers, and children. With Mary we proclaim the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death, and entrust the world to the mercy of her Son.

Prayer

Through devotion and prayer we seek to bring Mary back into the heart of the family, the first sanctuary of life where the sacredness of every human person is learned and loved. By restoring prayer in the home we honor Mary’s fiat, her yes to God, and invite families to say their own yes to life, love, and faith. From this love of life born in the family we go forth in witness.

Educate

We are devoted to educating others, especially the youth, on the sacredness and dignity of every human life. Through parish talks, school presentations, and community outreach, we share Mary’s message of hope and her call to cherish life as a gift from God. We distribute prayer cards, educational materials, and resources that inspire hearts to say yes with Mary; yes to faith, yes to life, and yes to the love of Christ present in every human person.

Donate to Make a Difference

At Our Lady of Life, we support life in all stages which is why we support Abode for Children, a Catholic orphanage in India, by donating funds to rescue children from slavery and human trafficking. These children are not only given safety and shelter, they’re formed in the Catholic faith and loved as sons and daughters of God. Many are now discerning vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Through your support, we are saving lives and raising saints.
